All lessons and classes are held in fully private studio rooms - no sharing with other students or couples. Open days, evenings, weekends. We also teach regular social dancing, father/daughters, and mother/sons.

Lesson FAQS:

• Are lessons private? All lessons are held in fully private rooms. The couple is alone with the instructor in a comfortable studio with a sprung floor and mirrors. The couple has complete control of the music played and does not share space or music equipment as do other studios.
• How long are the lessons? Lessons are 1 hour in length. Longer or shorter sessions can also be arranged.
• What can we expect to learn? The instructor will work with the couple to assess their goals and desires for their dance, and help with song selection if needed. A couple or individual can expect to learn the fundamentals of leading and following, dance steps tailored to their personality, music and dance choice, and the fundamentals of how to hear music and dance to the beat of their song or songs.
• Will you help us choose our song? Some couples come to us with a few favorite song selections. The choice of the dance then follows from the timing and beat of the music. For couples who are unsure of a song, we can provide suggestions, helpful websites, and demonstrate dances to popular song genres. A demonstration of several dances can assist a couple in narrowing down a song choice. 
• What is your cancellation policy? We make very effort to accomodate our couples and understand that emergencies happen. Please let us know 24 hours before the lesson if you anticipate any schedule changes so that we may release the private studio room for other couples.
• What is your payment policy? Lesson packages are discounted and must be paid in full on the first lesson. Payment is accepted in person via check/cash. Credit cards accepted online only.
• May one lesson be taken to see if we like the service or must we purchase a package? A couple or single person can take one lesson or several, depending on their needs and goals for their dance. Lesson packages may be upgraded by the second lesson of the series. Otherwise, additional lessons after package completion are at the single lesson price of $80 each.
• Do you give refunds? We do not give refunds after purchases are made for lessons or gift certificates. In the event of an emergency or unused lesson time, we will provide studio credit for up to one year from date of purchase.
